REMSEN, Iowa | One individual is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries after a Friday-morning truck-versus-SUV accident south of Remsen.
Around 6:42 a.m. Friday, law enforecement, fire and ambulance crews were dispatched to the intersection of county road C38 and Highway 140. A white 2010 Ford pickup was heading northbound on Highway 140 when a white 2017 Ford Escape traveling west on C38 failed to stop at a stop sign, and they collided.
One individual was taken by Mercy Air Care to Mercy Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle is being treated at Floyd Valley Hospital.
The names of the drivers are not being released at this time.
