SIOUX CITY | The Sioux City Council unanimously approved pay raises of 4 percent for city manager Bob Padmore and city attorney Nicole DuBois, the city's two highest-paid employees, on Monday.
Effective Jan. 1, Padmore's yearly salary will increase from $175,750 to $182,780, and DuBois's will increase from $132,596 to $137,900, according to city documents. The salary increases are based on annual performance evaluations, which are conducted by the City Council.
Padmore and DuBois are the only two employees whose salaries are individually approved by the council.
Padmore was appointed city manager in 2014 after a stint as assistant city manager. DuBois was hired by the city in November 2008 and was promoted from assistant city attorney to city attorney in October 2011.
