SIOUX CITY |Kolby DeWitt has been named as a key worker in the Sioux City office of U.S. Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa.
King's office in a Wednesday release said DeWitt will serve in the district representative position, as based in the office located in the Federal Building in downtown Sioux City.
DeWitt is a Sioux City native who for the last four years worked for the Republican Party of Iowa, serving most recently as Regional Political Director for western Iowa.
“Kolby is well-connected throughout Siouxland, and he brings with him a wealth of local knowledge and local contacts that will enhance my efforts to serve the people of the 4th congressional district. He has a finger on the pulse of the issues that affect western Iowa, and it’s great to have him on board," King said in a release.
DeWitt will be responsible for assisting constituents in Buena Vista, Cherokee, Harrison, Ida, Monona, O’Brien, Plymouth, Sioux and Woodbury counties. King has other offices to serve people in the 39 counties that comprise the 4th congressional district.
