SIOUX CITY | Democratic governor candidate Nate Boulton has set a campaign event for Sioux City on Tuesday.

Boulton's campaign in a release said he will tour the Jackson Recovery Center and discuss substance abuse issues. The event will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Jackson, located at 3500 W. Fourth St.

Boulton is a state senator from Des Moines.

Boulton is among eight Democratic  Iowa governor candidates, and the party's nominee will be selected in a June primary election vote. Gov. Kim Reynolds is running for re-election.
