SIOUX CITY | A massive winter storm that dumped more than a foot of snow on much of Siouxland caused city offices and schools to close Monday, resulting in postponed meetings for a handful of government entities.
Many are rescheduled either for Tuesday or next week.
The Sioux City Council, which was set to meet 4 p.m. Monday, rescheduled its meeting for Jan. 29. Since Jan. 29 is the fifth Monday of the month, a meeting had not been previously scheduled for that date.
The South Sioux City Council's regularly scheduled Monday meeting has been rescheduled to 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The Sioux City Community School Board meeting was rescheduled to 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Monday's canceled City Council meeting in North Sioux City has yet to be rescheduled.
