EVERLY, Iowa | A 75-year-old man has died following a one-car accident Friday morning in Everly, Iowa.
According to a report from the Clay County Sheriff's Office, 75-year-old Jack Schoelerman was driving a Gray Nissan Murano near the intersection of North Main Street and 130th Avenue in Everly around 10:54 a.m. Friday when his car left the roadway.
Schoelerman was unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene by Spencer Hospital personnel, the report said.
Authorities believe the accident may have resulted from a medical condition, the report said.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, Everly Fire and Rescue, Spencer Hospital and Clay County Conservation.
