ONAWA, Iowa | A Mapleton, Iowa, woman was charged Friday with felony vehicular homicide while driving intoxicated in connection with an April 20 accident that claimed a man's life.

Iowa court records show Judith Krohn, 44, was released on $25,000 bond after she was charged in Monona County District Court on Friday.

Iowa state police previously said Krohn was the driver of a 2004 Ford that left the road on a curve and rolled into the ditch along Highway 141 near Mapleton on April 20.

A passenger, Albert Butler, 59, of Mapleton, died from his injuries, police said. Krohn suffered nonlife-threatening injuries.

Neither one was wearing a seat belt, according to the accident report.

Police had said alcohol was a factor.
