SIOUX CITY | Beverly Ann Schmitt, 75, of Edina, Minn., formerly of Sioux City, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, in Edina.

Services were held Wednesday in Edina.

Beverly was born Feb. 25, 1937, in South Sioux City. She graduated from Bishop Heelan High School in Sioux City in 1955 and attended the University of Minnesota. She was the owner and operator of Parkview Treatment Centers in Phoenix, Ariz.

She is survived by her husband, Conrad V. Schmitt of Lakeville, Minn.; daughter, Kimberly Schmitt Moore (Greg) of Lakeville; brothers, V.J. Clayton (Betty), William M. Clayton (Ann) and Carl R. Clayton (Donna). Also left to honor her memory are numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Blanche and William Clayton.
