Mary Eunice (Brennan) Strozdas formerly of Sioux City died Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, in Dayton, Ohio.

Services were held at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Dayton. Burial was in St. Bernard Cemetery.

The former Mary Eunice Brennan was born on March 17, 1920, in Sioux City, the daughter of Charles Jerome and Katherine (Fleming) Brennan.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Alfred P. Strozdas; six children, Julie Ballman, Mary Jo Nero, John Strozdas, Jerry Strozdas, Jim Strozdas, and Katy Tinius; 15 grandchildren, nine great -grandchildren, two sisters, Sr. Jean Brennan and Sr. Peg Brennan; two brothers, Jim (Mary) Brennan and Dick (Jean) Brennan.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, David Strozdas; two brothers, Bob Brennan and the Rev. John Brennan; and a sister, Catherine Marriott.

Memorials may be sent in her name to Dominican Sisters, 585 County Road Z, Sinsinawa, Wis., 53824.
