SIOUX CITY | The Siouxland weather that people experience this weekend will be similar to the norm for the midpoint of November, plus a chance of limited snow Saturday morning.

The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has set a Friday forecast for Sioux City that includes substantial cloudiness. The forecast high is 55 degrees, and there is a 40 percent chance of rain after 9 a.m. That precipitation could switch to snow after 4 a.m. Saturday, as the overnight low drops to 34 degrees.

Saturday will start with clouds, then get sunnier as the day goes on, with an expected high of 42 degrees.

The following two days look more pleasing, with sunny skies expected on Sunday and Monday. The expected high temperatures in Sioux City are 49 degrees Sunday and 53 on Monday.

The historic normal high for November 21 in Sioux City is 44 degrees.
