SIOUX CITY | Some students in the Sioux City School District will be let out of class earlier Thursday, due to high heat conditions.

The forecast high temperature for Sioux City on Thursday is 90 degrees. School officials announced the early-out decision before 11 a.m. Thursday, when the temperature had reached 78 degrees.

Students will leave classes two hours in four elementary schools that do not have air conditioning: Bryant, Hunt, Riverside and Sunnyside schools.

Pupils will have a full day of classes in the other schools.
