Sioux Cityans are invited to reminisce about the city's past. Archives manager Tom Munson will lead a discussion on coffee and donut shops 9:15 to 10 a.m. at Sioux City Public Museum, 607 Fourth St. Attendees can bring photographs or memorabilia related to the topic. April's discussion will cover local elementary schools.
Pies for Pups 2018
Homemade pies (on Pi Day) will be available for $10 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Fareway, 512 Eighth SE, Orange City, Iowa. Proceeds will go to Big Paws Canine of Sioux Falls, an organization that provides service and companion dogs to disabled veterans and former first responders injured in the line of duty. Freewill donations will also be accepted.
