CASTANA, Iowa | Clifford D. Keller, 56, of Castana passed away Sept. 9, 2013, at his residence.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Rush Family Care Service in Onawa, Iowa, with the Rev. Dennis Burns officiating. Burial will be in Onawa Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.rushfamilycareservice.com.
Clifford Dean was born on July 17, 1957, in Auburn, Neb., the son of Marvin and Janice (Vice) Keller. He attended West Monona High School in Onawa. After school, he worked as a heavy equipment operator for various construction companies including for his father with Keller and Carlson Construction, Burt County, Neb., Niewohner Construction, and Dave Archer Construction.
Clifford and Lorrie Raymond were united in marriage on Dec. 24, 1978, in Onawa.
He enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Clifford is survived by his spouse, Lorrie Keller of Onawa; three children, Rebecca (Shannan) Poole of Turin, Iowa, Craig (Stephanie Bryan) Keller of Onawa, and Elicia (Bryan) Phillips of Onawa; a foster son, Jeff (Bridget) Jump of Sioux City; 10 grandchildren, Latisha, Britney, Seth, MaKenzie, Sierra, Abigail, Alyssa, Corbyn, Jayna, and Jaydon; his mother, Janice Keller of Onawa; two sisters, Trudy Cline of Arlington, Texas, and Belinda Robertson of Onawa; one brother, Stephen Keller of Onawa; and his mother-in-law, Bernadine Raymond.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Keller; and his father-in-law, Albert Raymond.
