Letters to the Editor

It is a difficult time for those who consider themselves Americans first and members of a political party second or members of a religion first and members of a political party second.

Donald Trump without the context of the Republican Party would not be seen in a favorable light by many. Trump without the context of the Republican Party would not be seen in a favorable light by any religion. Trump without the context of the Republican Party would not be seen as being fiscally responsible, as honorable, or as truthful.

Strip away the Republican Party affiliation and have Trump be anything but a Republican and there would be hell to pay because of who he is as a man and as a leader who brings out the worst in people rather than the best.

The only thing saving Trump is his party affiliation. - Jerry Eaton, Sioux City
