Even though The Journal editorial board was able to list numerous significant accomplishments President Trump has orchestrated in his first year in office in its Sunday editorial, it still only gave him a grade of “C” mainly because he uses Twitter and often speaks very directly with a harsh tone.
Just so I understand, you would rather have a president who speaks in a flowery manner, even if he was less successful on many items of key importance to the American people? The Journal editorial board needs to step back and look carefully at how it is arriving at opinions. Watching what people do rather than what they say would be a vastly better way to arrive at critical judgements rather than “feeling” your way as the editorial board currently does. - Eric Nelson, Sioux City
