OMAHA | South Dakota led from start to finish in an 85-71 Summit League men’s basketball victory over Nebraska-Omaha Saturday at Baxter Arena here.

Tyler Hagedorn tallied 25 points and seven rebounds for the Coyotes, who improved to 17-5 overall and 5-1 in the Summit League. Matt Mooney added 17 points, five rebounds and four assists while Nick Fuller came off the bench to contribute 16 points and eight rebounds.

The Coyotes raced to a 50-32 halftime lead. The USD bench outscored Omaha, 29-12.

Zach Jackson finished with 18 points for Omaha (7-15, 2-4).
