BROOKINGS, S.D | South Dakota State moved into sole possession of the Summit League women's basketball standings after handing South Dakota a 70-58 setback Saturday.

Clarissa Ober paced the Jackrabbits (18-5 overall and 9-2 Summit) with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Ober missed the first match up between the teams, a 65-62 in by the Coyotes in Vermillion on Dec. 31.

Freshman Ciara Duffy scored 11 points to lead USD (19-5 overall and 8-3 Summit). Both Jaycee Bradley and Abigail Fogg scored 10 for the Coyotes.

The Jackrabbits held the Summit's leading scorer, sophomore guard Allison Arens to six points. Arens reached 500 career points with her first made free throw of the game.
