SIOUX CITY – Briar Cliff bounced back from its first home loss of the season with a convincing 84-58 Great Plains Athletic Conference men’s basketball win over Concordia Wednesday at the Newman Flanagan Center.
The Chargers, ranked No. 7 in NAIA Division II, sank 18 3-pointers, improving to 23-5 overall and 12-4 in the GPAC.
Jackson Lamb finished with 16 points, hitting five treys, while Erich Erdman added 14 points, Ethan Freidel 11 and Jay Wolfe 10 to go along with a game-high 11 rebounds.
Clay Reimers had a game-high 20 points for Concordia (16-10, 7-8), which trailed 38-22 at halftime.
The Chargers remained tied with Morningside for first in the GPAC standings. Morningside clipped Dakota Wesleyan 84-83 on Wednesday.
