STORM LAKE, Iowa | Four Buena Vista University football players have received All-Iowa Conference football recognition for the 2017 season.
Senior wide receiver T.J. Lint was a first team offensive pick, while junior quarterback Cole Miller was a second team selection on offense. Senior linebacker Brady Illg and sophomore lineman Gary Weaver were second team defensive honorees.
Lint ranked second in the league in receptions per game (7.8), third in yards per game (11.0) and sixth in all-purpose yards per game (126.9). He set career highs with 12 catches for 191 yards against Dubuque.
Miller led the IIAC in passing yards per contest (331.0) and was second in both completions (194) and attempts (350) while tying for fourth in touchdowns (18). His completion and yardage totals both set single-game records and were just shy of single-game conference marks.

Weaver, who hails from Las Vegas, Nevada, had a career-high three sacks against Nebraska Wesleyan and 5.5 tackles for loss during conference play. He had 38 tackles from his defensive end spot.
BVU’s Joe Thraen, Tyler Oberreuter and Eric Pacheco were honorable mention picks.
