OMAHA | The Sioux City Stampede finally have their championship.

A year after falling in the title game -- and having suffered championship game defeats in two of the past three summers -- there was no denying the Stampede this time.

They stated fast against the Des Moines Blaze and went on to claim the Midwest Football Alliance title, 43-12 at Omaha Ralston High School Saturday.

The victory capped an undefeated season and was the second win over the Blaze this season for Sioux City after downing them 46-15 in the regular season.
