YANKTON, S.D. | Northwestern’s men’s golf team had a 304-316 edge over Dordt following first-round play at Monday’s Mount Marty Fall Invitational held at the Hillcrest Country Club.

Northwestern’s Evan Schuler and Dordt’s Tony Kallevig shared a tie for the lead with one-over par rounds of 73. Dakota Wesleyan’s Connor Preston shot a third-place 74.

Three players head into today’s second round tied at 74 – Northwestern’s Isaac Knock and Justin Kraft along with Mount Marty’s Joe Brinkman.

Paced by Brandon Schwade’s 81, Briar Cliff is in ninth place at 337.
