KINGSLEY-PIERSON 73, RIVER VALLEY 47: Camden Bainbridge scored 22 points as the Kingsley-Pierson boys basketball team defeated River Valley in a district tournament game on Thursday in Kingsley.
Nathan Keck finished with 17 points for the Panthers (15-6) and Jessen Reinking added 11.
Garrett Trapp scored 19 points for River Valley and Trey Goettsch had 10.
Kingsley-Pierson will continue district play hosting Woodbury Central on Tuesday.
River Valley ends its season at 6-14.
SOUTH O’BRIEN 55, STORM LAKE ST. MARY’S 39: Jackson Louscher scored 19 points as the No. 10 (1A) South O’Brien boys basketball team downed Storm Lake St. Mary’s 55-39 in a Class 1A district tournament game on Thursday in Paullina.
Carson Louscher and Peyton Brasser both finished with 12 points for South O’Brien (17-5).
South O’Brien hosts Harris-Lake Park on Tuesday in the next round.
St. Mary’s ends its season at 4-18.
HARRIS-LAKE PARK 54, HARTLEY-MELVIN-SANBORN 33: Bret Sohn scored 23 points as the Harris-Lake Park boys basketball team defeated Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn 54-33 in a Class 1A district tournament game on Thursday in Paullina.
Trevor Gunderson finished with 10 points for the Wolves (11-11) and Bryce Perkins grabbed 10 rebounds.
Ivan Abonce led HMS with eight points.
Harris-Lake Park continues district play on Tuesday against South O’Brien in Paullina.
ALTA-AURELIA 62, SIOUX CENTRAL 44: Alta-Aurelia downed Sioux Central 62-44 in an Iowa Class 2A boys district contest Thursday at Alta.
Tyler Hanks scored 10 points for Alta-Aurelia, which advanced with a 17-4 overall record.
Sioux Central, which closed at 12-10, was paced by Chase Jessen with eight points.
WEST MONONA 63, WESTWOOD 38: Gage Rotnicke scored 22 points and pulled down a dozen rebounds to lead the Spartans to a win over the Rebels in a Class 1A district boys basketball tournament game played in Sloan Thursday.
Calvin Coffman also added 17 points and Dylan Collison 11 for West Monona (9-12).
Drew Brekke had 12 points and Jacob Miller 10 for Westwood, which ends its season with an 8-12 mark.
WESTERN CHRISTIAN 56, WEST LYON 44: Jacob Vis scored a game-high 18 points as two-time defending 2A state champion Western Christian clipped West Lyon in district play Thursday night.
Ben Granstra tallied 11 points for Western Christian (20-2) while West Lyon (14-9) received nine points each for Jaden Snyder and Malachi Van Wyhe.
