Brynn Van Eldik finished with 10 points for Akron-Westfield (2-1).
Caitlin Van Engen led Trinity Christian (1-2) with five points.
WEST MONONA 62, MVAOCOU 36: Abbey Jamison scored 17 points as the West Monona defeated MVAOCOU 62-36 on Friday in Onawa.
Mallory McCall finished with 15 points for West Monona (2-0).

POCAHONTAS AREA 50, MANSON-NW WEBSTER 43: Kaylee Shivers had 13 points and Jocelyn Johnson added 12 on four 3-pointers in the Indians victory.

Manson-NW Webster was led by Sophie Herzberg's 15 points and Savannah Michalski added 12.

WOODBURY CENTRAL 65, RIVER VALLEY 11: Maddie Paulsen recorded a double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds as the Woodbury Central girls basketball team defeated River Valley 65-11 in a Western Valley Conference game on Friday in Correctionville.
Sally Gallagher finished with 21 points for Woodbury Central (2-1, 1-0) and Sidney Steffen had seven steals.
Kaylee Knaack led River Valley (0-3, 0-2) with four points.
Woodbury Central led 24-2 after the first quarter.
LE MARS GEHLEN 54, MMCRU 25: Gehlen raced out to a 25-15 halftime lead en route to the victory.
Addison Weber had 18 points for the Jays and Sydney Livermore added 10.

WEST SIOUX 52, HARRIS-LAKE PARK 27: Josie McKee had 16 points and Abbie Ericson added 14 to help the Falcons to the win in Lake Park Friday.
Both McKee and Ericson added seven rebounds apiece as the Falcons improved to 2-0.

KINGSLEY-PIERSON 81, OA-BCIG 42: Addison Hirschman scored 27 points and Bri Jensen tossed in 24 as the second-ranked (1A) Kingsley-Pierson girls basketball team improved to 2-0 with an 81-42 win over OA-BCIG in a Western Valley Conference game on Friday in Kingsley.
Jordyn Fredericks finished with 11 points for OA-BCIG (0-2) and Beth Rehse added 10.
NEWELL-FONDA 58, SIOUX CENTRAL 52: Tte No. 8 Mustangs (Class 1A) got 24 points from Olivia Larsen and held off the Rebels in a Twin Lakes Conference game Friday in Sioux Rapids, Iowa.
Megan Morenz also scored 16 for Newell-Fonda (3-0). Dani Boetcher had a game-high 27 points for Sioux Central.
WESTWOOD 66, SIOUXLAND CHRTISTIAN 44: Carah Drees scored 18 points and grabbed a dozen rebounds to lead the Rebels to a Western Valley Conference girls basketball win Friday in Sloan, Iowa.
Andee Martin also scored 17 points and Brenna Pike 13 for Westwood (3-1). Rachel Nelson had 15 points to lead Siouxland Christian (1-3).
OKOBOJI 53, BOYDEN-HULL 42: Kallyn Stumbo contributed 23 points, 14 rebounds, five assists and four steals as Okoboji evened its mark at 2-2 following Friday's Siouxland Conference win over Boyden-Hull.
