SOUTH SIOUX CITY -- Fifth-ranked South Sioux City opened sub-district play by dismantaling Schuyler 76-12 on Monday.

The Cardinals led 28-4 after the first quarter and held Schuyler, which had 34 turnovers in the game, to four points in the second half.

SSC was led by freshman Hannah Strom who had 14 points, McKenna Sims added 12 and Marybeth Rasmussen had 11.

The Cardinals are back in action Tuesday when they host the winner of Bennington/Blair in the sub-district final at 7 p.m.
