COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa | Jackson Sitzmann and Jackson Thompson each shot 2-over-par 74 to lead Sioux City Bishop Heelan to the team title in the Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln Invitational at Dodge Riverside Golf Course here Thursday.

Sitzmann fired a 39-35 and Thompson 37-37 and the Crusaders put together an impressive 309 total in the season opening event. Joey Stanley shot 39-40—79 and Trent Brazzell 42-40—82.

North’s Nick Opsahl also shot 79 with nines of 39 and 40. East (338) was second in the team standings, led by Cole Taylor and Jack Peterson with identical rounds of 43-39—82.

Matt Elgert was the low shooter for West with 53-49—102.
