SIOUX CITY -- Chase Lewison scored two goals Sunday as the Sioux City Metros defeated Mason City 4-2 in a Midwest High School Hockey League contest at the IBP Ice Center.

Lewison snapped a 2-2 tie with a second-period goal at thr 15:10 mark while his second tally of the game came in the third period for the unbeaten Metros (4-0).

Sioux City outshot Mason City 36-24 and received first period goals from Sam Chadwick and Drake Beller.

Carter Manthorne made 22 saves in net to earn the victory.

Sioux City also won the junior varsity contest 4-3 behind goals from Nick Novak, Cale Bricker, Reece McDonald and T.J. Lake.

Will Stokes was the winning goalkeeper with 25 saves.
