ORANGE CITY | The second-ranked (2A) Western Christian volleyball team went 6-0 and won the Sioux County Invite here Saturday.

The Wolfpack (9-3) defeated fourth-ranked (3A) Sioux Center (21-12, 20-22, 15-11), MOC-Floyd Valley (21-17, 21-15), Boyden-Hull (21-9, 21-14), second-ranked (2A) Sioux Falls Christian (21-15, 16-21, 15-8) and fourth-ranked (2A) Unity Christian (21-13, 21-17). Western Christian then played Sioux Falls Christian again in the championship match and won 22-20, 9-21, 15-10.

Ashtyn Veerbeek finished with 58 kills and 11 blocks. Jessi De Jager recorded 32 kills. Cori De Jong notched 26 kills. Madison Hoffman tallied 19 kills and 50 digs. Olivia Granstra dished out 58 assists and Tori Wynia added 53. Emma Bousema logged 64 digs and Avery Van Clay had 37.

MOC-Floyd Valley went 2-3. The Dutch defeated Boyden-Hull (21-12, 21-10), lost to Western Christian, defeated Unity Christian (21-18, 21-19), lost to Sioux Falls Christian (11-21, 21-14, 15-6) and lost to Sioux Center (19-21, 21-9, 15-12).

Molly Van Klompenburg finished with 18 kills for the Dutch (10-5). Jadeyn Schutt dished out 51 assists and added 17 digs. Corinne Wiese recorded 15 kills. Jazlin De Haan notched 12 kills and 21 digs. Zoe Heemstra tallied 10 kills and 28 digs. Josie Maasdam registered 41 digs and Lily De Haan had 18.
