YANKTON, S.D. | Rapid City Stevens held off Pierre 222.5-213.5 for the Yankton Invitational title here Saturday. Vermillion took fourth with 121 and Dakota Valley was 15th.

Vermillion's Lucus Anglin held off Rapid City Stevens' Cody BeVier 4-3 to win the title at 126. Trey Hage finished as the runner-up at 145 falling to Pierre's Michael Lusk 5-2. Brody Surrell also finished second at 220 when he was pinned by Cole Diedrichsen of Yankton.

Brett Culver downed Mitchell's Carter Max 8-4 to take third at 182. Ryne Whisler took fifth at 132 as he earned a 2-0 decision over Tea's Kiet Gilberts, and Kobe Culver downed Gage Gehring 6-5 in the ultimate tiebreaker to take fifth at 195. Tyson Hage was eighth at 152.

The Panthers saw Collin Becker earn fifth at 160 downing Brookings' Logan Bowes 6-4, Sam Wente was sixth at 182 and Henry Linden finish eighth at 126.
