SIOUX CITY -- An “Owl Prowl” is planned at 7 p.m. Friday at the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center.

The annual event will begin indoors with an informational session and then participants will hike outdoors to listen for any owls that may be calling.

Attendees will also meet the Nature Center’s resident live barred owl.

This program is free. Participants are asked to pre-register.

The Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center is at 4500 Sioux River Road (Hwy 12), Sioux City.
