SIOUX CITY | The sixth-ranked Dordt volleyball team swept No. 20 Morningside 25-17, 25-18, 25-19 in a Great Plains Athletic Conference match here Tuesday.

Ema Altena recorded 13 kills for Dordt (22-4, 10-2). Jamie Gesink dished out 31 assists and added 10 digs. Summer Jansen tallied 17 digs.

Jenn Buyert tallied 16 kills for Morningside (16-9, 8-4). Callie Alberico dished out 27 assists and Nikki Oberfoell registered 15 digs.

NORTHWESTERN 3, BRIAR CLIFF 1: The Chargers won the first set but the No. 3 Raiders stormed back to win the next three for a 20-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-20 Great Plains Athletic Conference volleyball triumph in Orange City, Iowa Tuesday.

Anna Kiel had 16 kills and eight digs to lead Northwestern (23-2 overall, 9-1 GPAC) in each category while Makenzie Fink had 10 kills and Lacey Wacker 49 assists. The win was the Raiders 19th straight in the series between the two schools.

Keely Woods had 13 kills for Briar Cliff (16-6 overall, 6-6 GPAC) and Emily Sanburg chipped in nine kills. Laura Berry and Delaney Meyer had 22 and 16 assists, respectively for BcU while Breanne Hankins and Katie Berg each had 11 digs.

WAYNE STATE 3, CHADRON STATE 0: The No. 20 Wayne State volleyball team swept Chadron State 25-15, 25-15, 25-21 in a non-conference match on Tuesday in Chadron, Nebraska.

Erin Gross finished with 15 kills for Wayne State (14-7, 8-4) and Jaci Brahmer added 12. Megan Gebhardt dished out 38 assists and Haley Kauth notched 12 digs.

Madison Webb logged 24 assists for Chadron State (7-12).

BUENA VISTA 3, COE 2: The Beavers rallied from two sets down to upend the Kohawks 22-25, 21-25, 25-23, 25-17, 15-9 in an Iowa Conference volleyball match held in Cedar Rapids, Iowa Tuesday.

Buena Vista (17-9 overall, 5-3 IIAC) used a balanced attack to rally with Jamie Navinskey (15), Jade Schaap (14) and Ali Groen (13) all in double digits for kills in the match. Schaap is now the career leader in kills for the Beavers with 1,829, passing Maddie Bardole on a school's kill list.

Setter Mackenzie Gropel had 51 assists and Summer Goss 20 digs for the Beavers. Brooke Runneberg had five blocks for BVU.

Lindsey Koch had 15 kills for Coe (11-15 overall, 3-5 IIAC).
