SIOUX CITY | No. 21 Morningside made quick work of Mount Marty 25-20, 25-12, 25-9 to improve to 16-8 overall and 8-3 in the GPAC here Wednesday.

The Mustangs, who have now won nine of their last 10 matches, were led by Jenn Buyert's 10 kills in a balanced offensive attack. Emma Gerber and Jayde Bergmann both added eight kills apiece.

Callie Alberico had 21 assists and Nikki Oberfoell had 14 digs.

Morninside had an attack percentage of .375 to just .032 for the Lancers.

Mount Marty was led by Laura Cattle's six kills.

BRIAR CLIFF 3, DWU 0: The Chargers got 15 kills from Courtney Schafer, 14 from Keely Woods and 12 from Emily Sanburg to pick up the 27-25, 25-15, 25-16 GPAC victory on Wednesday.

Laura Barry dished out 25 assists and Delaney Meyer added 24. Both Breanne Hankins and Katie Berg had 13 digs apiece.

DWU (14-12, 1-7) was led by Rebecca Frick's nine kills.

The Chargers are now 5-5 in the GPAC and 14-5 overall.

IOWA STATE 3, KANSAS STATE 0: No. 23 Iowa State swept Kansas State 25-12, 25-16, 27-25 led by Samara West's 13 kills and Grace Lazard added nine on Wednesday.

Former MOC-Floyd Valley standout Alexis Conaway had six kills and 11 digs.

Iowa State improved to 12-3 overall and 3-2 in the Big 12.
