Warm weather

Siouxlanders should be able to enjoy outdoor activities for another week. Above-normal temperatures will continue through Sunday, with high temperatures in the upper 40s and into the 50s all week.

SIOUX CITY | After a one-day cool down, Siouxlanders have a warm weekend to look forward to.

Today's forecast calls for pleasant conditions with a high of 51 degrees and clearing skies in the afternoon.

Friday's high temperature dips below normal at 45 degrees. Cloudy skies could lead to some rain Friday night.

Then comes the warm weekend.

The National Weather Service forecast calls for clearing skies on Saturday with a high of 56 degrees. There is a slight chance for rain overnight Saturday, then Sunday brings partly sunny skies and a high of 50 degrees.

Forecasts call for cooling temperatures to start next week, when high temperatures in the 40s are expected.
