In just a few short weeks, Awesome Biker Nights will make its return to downtown Sioux City.

The motorcycle rally and charity event will set up camp on Historic Fourth Street after last year’s move to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City. Awesome Biker Nights celebrates its 18th year.

As always, the organizers of Awesome Biker Nights have arranged for an entire weekend full of music. Kicking off at 6 p.m. June 16 on the Court Street Stage is the Ames-based band Here’s to You, followed by glam rock ‘n’ roll group The Midnight Devils and the local Social Distortion tribute band Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell.

Playing at 6:30 p.m. June 16 on the Main Stage is Detroit-based rock band Citizen Zero, followed by the Memphis rock ‘n’ roll band Black Oak Arkansas, which features Sioux City’s own Johnnie Bolin on drums. Closing out the night is the hard rock group Black Stone Cherry, whose last three albums managed to hit No. 1 in the United Kingdom rock charts.

The Court Street Stage on June 17 will be packed with some of Sioux City’s most popular rock bands. Trip Modus, Port Nocturnal, GhostCat and Top Down are slated to perform before 35th & Taylor, a Siouxland band that recently performed in front of more than 23,000 people when the group was chosen to open for Bon Jovi in Chicago.

The Main Stage music will start at 6:30 p.m. June 17 with singer Ben Grillet, who has performed in the local bands Red Dirty Turkeys, GypsyLover and the Dueling Dickheads.

Afterwards, Casey Muessigmann will take the stage – the singer-songwriter made an appearance on season 3 of “The Voice” and shared the stage with performers like Florida Georgia Line, Blake Shelton and Merle Haggard.

Closing out rally is Tucker Beathard, a young country music singer and songwriter and the son of Nashville songwriter Casey Beathard.

In addition to the live music, Awesome Biker Nights will also have stun teams and ramp jumpers performing at various times June 16 and 17.

The celebration officially begins at 6 p.m. June 15 with the Biker Parade, followed by kickoff party featuring the local band Evolution at 7 p.m. At the same time, a poker tournament will be held at ROX & RAILS – registration begins at 6 p.m.

Your last chance to purchase pre-sale wristbands is between 5 and 10 p.m. June 15.
