Dogfish Head Craft Brewery will enter the Nebraska market according to a blog post Monday on the Delaware brewery's website.

The blog post listed no firm launch date, but Callahan's Liquor has announced a Feb. 21, launch event at the South Sioux City liquor store.

Representatives of the liquor store tell me the brewery will launch with 60 and 90 Minute IPAs, Namaste White Ale, SeaQuench Ale, Flesh and Blood IPA, India Brown Ale, Midas Touch, Burton Baton, Palo Santo Marron, Romantic Chemistry, Lupu-Luau IPA and Liquid Truth Serum.

Although no mention of an Iowa launch was found on the brewery's website, both Charlie's Wine and Spirits and The Diving Elk in Sioux City said they expect Dogfish Head beers to arrive as early as Monday.

C.J. Perera, owner of The Diving Elk, said he was told to expect delivery of kegs of the same beers that will be launching in Nebraska. Perera said the Historic Fourth Street bar will be planning an event as soon as next week.

The Nebraska and Iowa launches are a continuation of a territory build-out that saw Dogfish Head announce entry into the Minnesota, Louisiana, Alabama, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Kansas and Missouri markets in the past 12 months. The company currently sells beer in 39 states and Washington, DC.

Founded in 1995 by Sam Calagione, the brewery is perhaps best known for its 60, 75, 90 and 120 Minute line of IPAs and its "off-centered ales" such as Liquor de Malt that was sold in branded paper bags and Ta Henket, a beer brewed with ingredients divined from Egyptian hieroglyphics.

According to press information from the brewery:

Dogfish Head has grown into a top-20 craft brewery and has won numerous awards throughout the years including Wine Enthusiast’s 2015 Brewery of the Year and the James Beard Foundation Award for 2017 Outstanding Wine, Spirits, or Beer Professional.

It is a 300+ coworker company based in Delaware with Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats, an off-centered brewpub and distillery, Chesapeake & Maine, a geographically enamored seafood restaurant, Dogfish Inn, a beer-themed inn on the harbor and Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, a production brewery and distillery featuring a tasting room and food truck.

Dogfish Head supports the Independent Craft Brewing Seal, the definitive icon for American craft breweries to identify themselves to be independently-owned and carries the torch of transparency, brewing innovation and the freedom of choice originally forged by brewing community pioneers.
