Boji Brew Fest, a first-time beer festival, will be debut Saturday in Arnolds Park, in the Iowa Great Lakes resort region.
About 16 Iowa and regional breweries are planned to sample their beers during the festival at the city's Central Park.
Kathryn Fahy, event coordinator, said final planning for the festival is going well.
"It's coming together really well," she said. "We have a lot of interest from ticket holders and from brewers. It's great to be able to showcase local and Iowa breweries."
The festival will start at noon for VIP ticket holders and general admission ticket holders will be allowed entrance at 1 PM. The festival ends at 4.
The festival is sponsored by the Iowa Great Lakes Rotary and the Spirit Lake PEO chapter and money raised from the festival will go towards renovations at Shelby's Playground children's park in Elinor Bedell State Park. Festival hosts are Iowa Great Lakes-area breweries West O Beer of West Okoboji and Okoboji Brewing Company of Spirit Lake.
VIP and general admission tickets are still available for Boji Brew Fest and can be purchased online from the festival's Eventbright page.
