NORFOLK, Neb. | A man accused of yelling at the devil was arrested by Norfolk police Friday, officials said.

Cornell Preston, 33, address unknown, was charged with disturbing the peace, a simple misdemeanor. Police say he was yelling about Lucifer in a public park.

In a release issued by the Norfolk Police Department, Preston was seen screaming in a picnic shelter at Ta Ha Zouka Park in Norfolk at 11:29 p.m.

The release said he was yelling that the devil was coming to take him away.

When officers approached Preston, he continued to yell about Lucifer and called the officers the devil, the release said.

He was booked into Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to Madison County Jail in Madison, Neb.
