SIOUX CITY | Authorities on Monday released footage of a high-speed pursuit involving a South Dakota homicide suspect spotted in Sioux City.
The man, Joshua Hudson, 28, was charged with felony second-degree homicide, aggravated assault and grand theft. He is accused of killing his uncle, Todd Hudson, in Yankton, S.D., early Friday morning.
He was seen near Wesley Way in Sioux City about 10 a.m. Friday.
The Woodbury County Sheriff's Office and Sioux City police chased Hudson 13 miles up Hamilton Boulevard to Stone Park Boulevard, then Broken Kettle Road and then County Road K-18.
Hudson drove his truck around a spike strip thrown across the road in rural Union County, S.D., and went into the ditch. He was quickly arrested.
The Woodbury County Sheriff's Office released dash-cam footage of the chase.
