SIOUX CITY | Ever thought about dealing cards for a living? If so, here's your chance to do so without leaving Siouxland.

The new Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City is hosting nine informational meetings beginning Tuesday, May 13 for those interested in becoming table game dealers at the $128.5 million venue, set to open later this summer.

Even if you don't have previous table game experience, you're welcome to learn more, according to Hard Rock officials. All you need is an outgoing personality, a love of interacting with guests, and a desire to work in a lively atmosphere.

“We are looking for outgoing, personable people to join our table games team,” Hard Rock Sioux City General Manager Todd Moyer said. “If you want to have fun at work, this could be the job for you."

If you are hired as a dealer, the casino will put you through extensive training in a dealer school.

Here is the scheduled for the one-hour informational sessions:

Tuesday,  2 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m.;  Wednesday, 9 to 10 a.m.; 1 to 2 p.m. and 5 to 6 p.m.; Friday, 1 to 2 p.m. and 5 to 6 p.m.; May 17, 9 to 10 a.m. and 1 to 2 p.m.
