The two-minute segment, which is part of the “Manufacturing Marvels” series, will feature the 150-year-old family-owned company's metal casting division.
Manufacturing Marvels spotlights American manufacturers, their products and key markets.
"It's a great opportunity to have our company featured on a nationally syndicated program," Sioux City Foundry Co. CEO Andy Galinsky said.
Tuesday's segment, which will air between 8:30 and 8:45 pm, will focus on the foundry's ability to pour various types of metal in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and capacities. The video will also highlight the company's value-added services, including heat-treat, machining, and painting.
Sioux City Foundry, 801 Division St., supplies castings to an ever-widening array of industries such as the oil and gas, military, pumping, mining, power generation, and agricultural industries throughout North America.
The Fox Business Channel airs on Channel 336 on Cable One in Sioux City, Channel 206 on the DISH satellite network and Channel 359 on DIRECTV.
Manufacturing Marvels is produced by Bob and Jerry May and directed by Bryan McCullough. The productions are shot on location in HD broadcast format and narrated by John Criswell, a former CBS and ABC news anchor, according to the Fox Business website.
Manufacturing Marvels promotes the paid productions as shorter in length than typical industrial videos, serving as a video brochure for trade shows, new hire orientations and marketing purposes.
