SIOUX CITY -- Twenty buildings from the Sioux City Community School District (SCCSD) earned 2017 ENERGY STARs for superior energy performance.
This is the fourth year schools from the district have earned an ENERGY STAR Certification.

SCCSD Energy Specialist Jeremy Taylor anticipates Sioux City to remain No. 2 in the nation – in communities with a population of less than 100,000 -- for ENERGY STAR Certified Buildings, based on Sioux City Schools’ contribution alone.
The following Sioux City School buildings earned 2017 ENERGY STAR Certification: Bryant Elementary, Clark Early Childhood Center, East High School, East Middle School, Educational Service Center, Hunt Elementary, Irving Dual Language, Leeds Elementary, Liberty Elementary, Loess Hills Computer Programming, Morningside Elementary, Nodland Elementary, North High School, North Middle School, Perry Creek Elementary, Riverside Elementary, Sunnyside Elementary, Unity Elementary, West High School, and West Middle School.
