SERGEANT BLUFF -- Sioux City Brick mechanic Nick Dittman recently celebrated his 40th anniversary with the company.

The 63-year-old South Sioux City resident has spent four decades keeping the Sergeant Bluff-based plant’s forklifts, fleet of vehicles and heavy equipment running.

“Nick worked on some of our very early forklifts, the old three-wheel Hyster lifts, and he kept them running and doing the job at the plant, which allowed us to focus spending on other important improvements,” said Sioux City Brick CEO Mark Mahoney. “Nick is a great mechanic.”
