Mercy announces two new inpatient clinical nurse educators

SIOUX CITY | Mercy Medical Center -- Sioux City has announced the appointments of Alicia Held and Kari Kirchmeier to the position of inpatient clinical nurse educators.

In their new positions, Held and Kirchmeier will help nurses integrate evidence-based practices to promote high standards of patient care. 

Held acquired her bachelor's degree in nursing from Mount Marty College, and completed her master of science degree in nursing from Walden University. 

Kirchmeier received her bachelor's degree in business administration from Drake University, and an associate degree in nursing from St. Luke's College of Nursing. She is pursuing her master of science degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix.
