According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, an internet website in September 2018 advertised a woman as an escort available in Sioux City. The man drove the woman from Omaha to a Sioux City hotel for the purpose of engaging in prostitution. Read more

A Sioux City Police officer on his way home from a night shift spotted the pickup running into the concrete barrier repeatedly before going back northbound on the interstate with the headlights off. Read more

A police official said the team was doing wind sprints when the student collapsed Monday evening. Life-saving measures were performed until emergency responders arrived, then continued at a medical facility. Read more

Driver in high-speed chase at large after ditching car in Sioux City

A North Sioux City officer initiated the pursuit after observing the suspect driving a black Honda Accord that he reportedly had taken for a test drive from Riverside Auto in Sioux City. The pursuit continued into Iowa and reached speeds of 110 mph. Read more
