SIOUX CITY -- Disabilities Resource Center of Siouxland is hosting two Halloween-related, fundraising events on Saturday.

A family friendly, pet-friendly zombie walk will be held at 2:30 p.m. on the campus of Western Iowa Tech Community College, with registration beginning at 2 p.m.

There will be makeup artists to help attendees look "undead" as well as distressed clothing for proper zombie attire. Prizes will be awarded for costume categories and the original "Night of the Living Dead" will be shown.

Adult admission is $10, student admission is $5, while kids, 12 and under, get in free.

Registration for a Zombie Bar Crawl will begin at 5 p.m. at The Marquee, 1225 Fourth St. From 6 to 11 p.m., attendees can go to any of the 10 participating bars for a specialty drink. There will be an extra trolley available to take patrons from bar to bar.

There will be an after-party as well as costume contest at The Marquee, beginning at 11:30 p.m.

Tickets are $20, or $18 if purchased in advance.
