The legendary electronic music duo Daft Punk have confirmed their break-up after a 28-year career. The duo announced the news in an 8-minute video titled ‘Epilogue’. Their publicist Kathryn Frazier has confirmed the news. However, the reason for the split is unknown. Daft Punk was formed in Paris in 1993 by Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. They released their debut album ‘Homework’ in 1997. It features classic hits such as ‘Around the World’ and ‘Da Funk’. The duo had started making appearances in their iconic robot helmets by the time their 2001 album ‘Discovery’ was released. They’ve won many awards throughout their career, including 6 Grammy awards, 2 Billboard music awards and 1 MTV EMA
