SPIRIT LAKE, Iowa -- Dakota Valley pushed its girls basketball win streak to seven games with Thursday's 49-41 nonconference win over Spirit Lake.

The Panthers connected on nine three-pointers in the victory, including five from senior scoring leader Peyton Wingert. Wingert, who recently became the school's career scoring leader, led the way with 19 points.

Rylee Rosenquist added nine points while Madisyn Heeren had eight rebounds and Alyssa Johnson seven for a Dakota Valley team that plays at Sioux Falls Christian on Friday.

Jordyn Hamm led Spirit Lake with 15 points and Emily Alger had 12.
