NORTH SIOUX CITY | Peyton Wingert became the career scoring leader at Dakota Valley, firing in 20 points during Saturday’s 52-35 win over Lawton-Bronson.

Wingert now has 1,026 points, passing the previous Dakota Valley scoring leader, Alyssa Wall (1,016). Wingert made each of the Panthers’ three 3-point baskets.

Madisyn Heeren added 14 points for Dakota Valley (10-2).

Haley Williams led Lawton-Bronson (5-11) with 14 points.

Dakota Valley will play at Spirit Lake Tuesday night.
