SIOUX CITY -- Siouxland Christian used a strong third quarter to take control and defeat Sioux City North 62-44 in a girls basketball game Thursday in the CNOS Foundation Classic at the Tyson Center.
The Eagles outscored the Stars 18-4 in the third frame, erasing a one-point halftime deficit, and improving to 4-6 on the season.
Siouxland Christian had a trio in double figures, all with 15 points, Riley Doenhoefer, Faith Campbell and Cassie Jones. Rachel Nelson had 10 rebounds in the victory.
Hailee Enoch led North (1-11) with 16 points while MaLika Peak-Wallace added 15.
