SIOUX CITY | An expo coming to Sioux Gateway Airport in late October will feature aircraft from a diverse selection of general aviation manufacturers.

Scheduled 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hawthorne Global Aviation Services, 5815 Mitchell St., the Great Planes Air Expo will be presented by KCAC Aviation, a full-service Midwest aviation business.

The expo focuses on light business jets, turboprops and piston aircraft used by both businesses and individuals to fly to more than 5,000 airports around the country. It will include a variety of general aviation experts, including representatives of Cirrus, Pilatus, Beechcraft, Quest Kodiak, TBM and Angel Flight.

The expo is an effort to educate business travelers on the benefits of owning a private aircraft.
