The Ladies Club of St. Thomas Orthodox Church, 1100 Jones St., is looking for help with the International Orthodox Christian Charities (I.O.C.C.) Humanitarian Relief Project.
The Ladies Club is asking for donations to assemble Clean-Up Buckets, School Kits and Health Kits. For items needed, check lists are available in the church hall. All kits will be mailed to the I.O.C.C./Church World Service in New Windsor, Maryland, for distribution to the needy. The project will continue through March.

Calvary Episcopal Church, 1308 S. Cleveland St., held an election during its annual meeting.
Those elected to the vestry were Robin and Karen Nissen, Cheriyl Crandell, Kelly Houts, Sue Berry, Bob Kistler, Amilicar Olivarez and Mike Kyriss. Officers chosen were Kelly Houts, senior warden; Robin Nissen and Bob Kistler, co-junior wardens; Sandy Shroll, treasurer; and Sue Berry, financial secretary and clerk. The Rev. Stacey Gerhart is the priest in charge.
Morningside Lutheran Church, 700 S. Martha, will mark its 100th year Sunday. The congregation will be celebrating this centennial event with two services at 9:30 and 11 a.m. These services will reflect what the church's services were like 100 years ago. There will also be special events throughout the year to celebrate this milestone. The theme for this year is "Press On" from Philippians 3:12-14.
Morningside Lutheran Church was formally organized in early February 1918.
St. Boniface Catholic Church, 703 W. Fifth St., First Friday of Every Month Luncheon Buffet has been canceled Friday, Feb. 2. The luncheon will resume on March 2.
